New Name for My Blog
I came up with a new name for my blog, but when I told Karen about it at supper she looked at me quite seriously and asked, "Are you really considering that name?" Guess it's back to the drawing board.

I enjoyed reading your blog. You should have posted what you were planning on naming your blog and let your readers give their thoughts. Karen is probably right though!

The name I was thinking of was "Home Grown Synapse". In my mind, it reflected the idea of home and family as well as the idea of thinking and being self-educated (though I did spend 8 years in university). Karen said it sounded psychotic. After reflection, I think she was right; it did sound psychotic. Sounds too much like a science fair experiment by someone who didn't read the ethics guidelines.

. . . and i finally picked up with a phrase my sunday school teacher said during one of the classes:
Joy [is] the birthmark of the [born-again] believer.
How true it is. I suspect that if CS Lewis or John Piper were to hear of it, he might even use it (and I'd be glad to let him do so). I left out the bracketed words.
