Obama

I'm not a big fan of the policies of President Obama. However I just read something that said Obama tries very hard to pronounce the names of people and places correctly, even including phonetic spellings in his notes and briefings. I'd like to complement Obama for this. Pronouncing names and places incorrectly is an insult, while taking the time to pronounce correctly is praiseworthy.

I think it's great that you praise Obama where praise is due! It's a good reminder to me that as an American who is under President Obama's authority, I need to remember to appreciate him where I can and respectfully disagree when I have to have to (which is turning out to be quite a bit!).

Thanks :)

As a Canadian, I am not under the Biblical injunction to be in submission to American governing authorities. On the other hand, simple honesty compels me to give praise where it is due.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
